Our Director of Property Management personally ensures that every property entrusted to HGC meets our high standards of excellence. She closely oversees junior staff to guarantee each property is managed with the utmost care and professionalism. With our thorough system of checks and balances, we are confident that your property or HOA will be managed smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. 


Real Estate

Our Director of Real Estate personally evaluates the unique needs of each buyer and seller to ensure the best agent is matched for your success—whether you're purchasing, selling, or doing both. With over 20 years of experience, she plays a vital role on the HGC Property Management team, providing expert guidance and support every step of the way. In Virginia, we specialize in managing properties throughout Danville, Galax, Martinsville, South Boston, Chatham, and Rocky Mount. In North Carolina, our expertise extends across Brunswick, New Hanover, Hoke, Cape Fear, Forsyth, Guilford, Davidson, Rockingham, Mecklenburg, and Caswell counties.

Getting Started

  Once a Management Agreement is in place, a member of the HGC Corporate team will personally meet with you to evaluate your property and provide expert recommendations to help you achieve the highest possible monthly rental value. We’ll coordinate any approved maintenance or repairs through our trusted network of qualified, fully insured vendors—ensuring all work meets professional standards. HGC does not profit from any maintenance or repair services; all work is subcontracted to vendors with whom we’ve built longstanding relationships based on quality craftsmanship and competitive pricing.

  • Our targeted marketing spans online platforms, local media, signage, and flyers.
  • Prospective tenants undergo comprehensive screening through a trusted online service.
  • We prepare all lease agreements in compliance with Virginia REB regulations.
  • Rent is collected promptly each month.
  • Annual property inspections ensure your home remains well-maintained.
  • We proactively manage lease renewals to maintain occupancy.
  • If needed, we handle eviction proceedings through small claims court.
